Yellowknife 2018

Minus 40 was surprisingly comfortable our third night out in search of the northern lights, mostly I assume because it was minus 50 our second night out. The Aurora was so fantastic, I had to scramble back into our van/truck several times after failing to keep my hands safely covered because I was mesmerized by the show around us and because my tripod was so cold I could no longer move any of its adjustments. Can't wait to return to Yellowknife.
